I think the requirement for AudioBus is specified by Arturia when they contract developers...
For iMini and iProphet it is Arturia you should be contacting, they own them, they hold the keys to unlock further work.
Retronyms for Phase84
It worked before in both AB and IAA ...
It's broken now.
Last time we had some discussion over in the FB group it was the Retronyms group member who responded. So, they do listen. Hence contacting them too. It is also Retronyms who responded when I raised other issues some time back about iMini. I purpose to contact both about each where appropriate. Just raising it here![ ](https://forum.loopypro.com/resources/emoji/smile.png)
Good, the more people you poke, the more chance of getting it fixed![:) :)](https://forum.loopypro.com/resources/emoji/smile.png)
Tried it in AUM with effectrix, no issues, the arp latches perfectly to the common tempo. Air 2 latest.
Just added egoist to the mix with bass sequencer driving iMini. Wow!
Having said all that I got a bit lost with imini's sound and ended up using egoist's simple and punchy alternative. I have a feeling that all those little niggles will mean that iMini will never quite deliver and will eventually be abandoned.
I doubt that very much.
A Minimoog emulation is a flagship product - esp. for Arturia. Part of their ports-from-the-desktop.
Hopefully Arturia's future development hires have iOS chops themselves so that these ports can all be handled in-house. Hopefully that's Rolf.![ ](https://forum.loopypro.com/resources/emoji/wink.png)
I have the same problem. When I add AUFX effects to iMini in AUM, then switch back to iMini, there is no sound.
However, if I switch to the AUFX, then tap the AUM icon at the bottom, it brings up the AUM icon, the iMini icon and the AUFX icons. If I select all of the AUFX effects, then switch to iMini, then I get sound as expected.
If I add a new effect, the sound goes off until I do this again. (I actually think you only need to bring the recently added effect to the foreground.)
I hope this helps.
interesting! I actually managed to make iMini work with three au:fx by swapping a bit back and forth between the apps. not too elegant, but certainly a workaround!
A crawl-around-under-the-desk-around-unplugging-and-replugging-in-cables-workaround![ ](https://forum.loopypro.com/resources/emoji/smiley.png)
OK. Cool. Eric from Retronyms got back to me (thanks Eric if you are here too - I can't recall) and at his request I will engage him in a show and tell - probably tomorrow - so that he can see what the issue is. Hoping we can get it expedited thusly to a fix![ ](https://forum.loopypro.com/resources/emoji/smiley.png)
excellent! don't forget to mention that it affects all three apps, not just iMini
Yep. Will do. I'll also mention anything else that comes to mind, so, make a list here. But it's the AB / IAA issue that's most relevant at the moment. My other bugbear is the lack of velocity sensitivity in iProphet.
AUv3 versions of the rest of the Arturia line-up should be on 'agenda' since iSEM is already AUv3
Maybe they are already working on them?
Cool - yes. Although I'm speaking to Retronyms not Arturia. So, will have to focus on Retronyms apps. But, yes, since iSEM's already in, that makes sense.![:+1: :+1:](https://forum.loopypro.com/resources/emoji/+1.png)
No issues here with audiobus. Latest IOS 10.1 Ipad Air 2
thanks very much for getting this hopefully sorted out, my additional issues:
Just tried in Audiobus with DubFilter in the fx slot. No issues at all.
Did you try DubFilter followed by something else @supadom? And then switch to iMini to play the keyboard? Try adding, say, Crystalline after DubFilter if you have it. Or apeFilter after DubFilter. etc. etc. Then you'll see the problem
well for iProphet, the biggest problem for me is that if you do anything polyphonic, after a very short while, there is a strong grumbling noise and you have to restart the patch. if they were able to fix that, it would be one of my favorites
That explains it. I never use more than one effect on a channel because all the effects I ever use are multi effects! Turnado, Effectrix, ToneStack, Magellan etc. I don't have any other apesoft effects but I do believe you without seeing![;) ;)](https://forum.loopypro.com/resources/emoji/wink.png)
Or getting them pissed. LOL
A little bit ot but neo soul keys doesn't work as soon as i put an fx app in audiobus.goes silent.works fine with no app in the fx slot.
Looks like we're having to reschedule the call to Friday owing to transport issues at Retronym's end. But - we're still working towards getting things fixed hopefully![:+1: :+1:](https://forum.loopypro.com/resources/emoji/+1.png)
Keep us posted on progress, I do like the sound and interface of iMini, just gave up because of the stability issues...stuck notes....ghosting in IAA etc...
I'm going to pass this on to the guys at Retronyms. I can reproduce it.
