Meh. I think I'll wait for the update: A $400 book of photos detailing the creation of the first book.
They say gluttony is a sign of stagnation:

I'm waiting for Photobook Pro myself.
Ill wait the update of that: A $800 book of photos detailing the creation of that book
I'm waiting for the book on the oral history of sample import to come out, by hermutt lobby.
I'll wait for the book that decides I need it and appears on my iPad without request, at just $1,000.
I'm cool with the idea - who'd take notice of a $20 xmas-present at all ?
ps: I still have one of those Cubes pictured in the link, 8 GB SSD
Beware...PhotoBook Pro....people say they are taking away the pages as Apple are feeling 'Brave' this time!
I'll wait for the wireless version (with lots of added dongles) that can transmit the photos directly to my optic nerve, by then they'll also have added a free super duper mini (transmit to your retina) iPad IAP.
I'll wait for the limited edition IK Multimedia version, with popups on every page.
Jump the shark.
And people will buy it.
Collectors, maybe. Ive thinks it's "a resource for students". Yeah, they always complain that textbooks are very expensive, good luck persuading them to buy a $300 book of questionable use
a few collectors will buy it, but everyone else is talking about the price tag
that's marketing...
I bet it doesn't have any ports does it...
Never thought I would catch Apple gazing at their own navel.
Minijack? Or you need a usb-C dongle to make it work?
It's an industrial design coffee table book; $200-$300 isn't an abnormal price for that sort of book. Fun to bash apple but they've got more than 20 years of great industrial design. Hard to remember as they assume the role of grand hegemonic overlords that they were the clever underdogs for decades known for great product design.
Oh, more than 40 years - look at the Apple 1.
+1
Though I doubt I'll get this, I've spent a small fortune on art and design books over the years. They're pricey, but this is mostly due to high quality manufacturing and smal, print runs.
Excellent resource material for designers.
The original wooden Apple is on display at the American History Smithsonian (or was 10 years ago). It was a bit of a DIY marvel to look at. I think Woz was responsible though.
Pretty much the same book but for $50. https://www.amazon.com/Iconic-Photographic-Tribute-Apple-Innovation/dp/0988581701
Or for $250 you get two cases:
I'll wait for the scanned pdf torrent and not download it.
May faith and enthusiasm for Apple have never been lower.
And yes, you were right - no ports or headphone Jacks on it!!
I'll wait for the paperback version next year... it'll be thinner!
Finally, a Mac Book for $300!
Haha! Fantastic!
At that price I'd expect the bloody thing to at least have a touchbar installed someplace, lol.
