To me it seems that 'modern' software-development is from efficient programming and focuses is on getting out apps as fast as possible. I mean look at the crap Facebook is doing. It's far from 'optimized' coding and memory efficiency and don't mention the lack of cache management, ARGGHHHHHHH!!!!!
