Yessssss!
This is a dream is'nt it, wait no I'm awake its real yes yes yes.
Oh yeah, it's for real.
It's all been a bit of a dream state for the past year. Glad to see Cassini on the bus!
This is the one I held out from buying. Well worth the wait.
Wohooo!~ I was waiting for this one :-D
Ohhhh yes!
A-Maz-Ing!
Always loved this synth, even before it got all iPad style..great presets and sounds and very easy to tweak...now what else is left..
Filtatron, hehehe...
Yes, I've been waiting for Cassini on the Bus as well!
Great LFOs!
Ah yes Filtertron..I did some really interesting stuff with a loop from Drum Loops HD...just a standard loop imported into filter and you can set the delays to make it sound like fills..very very cool..
Cool! Very unexpected! In fact, I had deleted Cassini and never expected to download it again, yet I have just downloaded it! Haha...what a GREAT surprise! :-)
I'm a greedy little bastard, I know. Want that delay in the effect slot so badly though!
With this release, Filtatron and nanoloop are my only hold outs, I believe.
couple questions: does this support midi stop/start/sync? how is it at bass sounds? from what little i've read it seems more suited to long spacey chords, etc... and does this new version have any more presets than the previous one (27 i think?)?
Comes with 50 presets. Sunsine Audio sells a great set for pennies if you want more.
Does do midi sync but doesn't always get the right tempo from my quick tests. Often half or double the actual bpm. Easy enough to correct for it by setting the arp clock to a different resolution.
I think it does great bass sounds but that's a pretty subjective question in synth land. Can objectively say it's a very capable synth.
Cool to see this.....beh...i have two more in my weating list: iMpc & iMachine & Stochastik....
Spent hours in Cassini tonight. Such an incredible synthesizer. Definitely have a little wish list for it, namely the front panel assignable knobs and the way the effect the synth while programming, but whatever. Sounds so great and is crazy crazy tweak head deep. And those delays!
8bit waveforms to oscillators great update :-)
I was holding off on this one as i have more synths than i can handle, but a sale and audiobus support,can...not....resist.....bought!
WHOAAAA!
I've been wanting this app for ages, but wouldn't bother without AB. Saw the sale last night and was tempted but decided not to since, again, I assumed it didn't have AB. That shows me to always check the app details
I'd still like to see Jasuto, SynthX, Filtatron, iMPC, Stochastic, and Synthtronica get on the bus.
+1 for all of those.
Is Jasuto & Synthtronica worth picking up....I've always been intrigued by Jasuto even tho its not on AB
Jasuto is retired so it is what it is. I was never a fan of the UI. Sure would like to see filtatron and stochastic on the bus though!
What about the iPhone version? I hope it's not another developer who don't cares about the few mobile hardcores If so... i will remember
Would love to see something with as many nobs on as Cassini in the effects slot.
Cassini's delay would be wonderful in the effects slot!
@funjunkie27 I'm with you on those ones: Jasuto (highly flexible modular synth despite the UI! Too bad news for it now, someone else could be nice to implement AB like it happened to Jordan's apps), iMPC (oh come on!), SynthTronica ("non live" vocoder from heaven!) and Synth X (sounds like a good old ARP!)
I forgot voice synth. So much madness.
@FRibeiro Indeed. I'd pay again for the Cassini delay as a separate app in the effect slot in a heartbeat. It's like having two Effectron IIs. Add a couple of nice pre/post saturators and we'll all find Jesus.
And don't forget Pro Keys..although it only had a few sounds they were all top notch...the Vangelis style patch is truly amazing..
Cassini for iPhone ?
