  • Looks cool, but why now?

  • I dunno, I was taken in by some JR app when I was an iPad newbie and ever since then that's been a big red flag.

I am making a point to use apps that utilize IOS platform more in my work.

    Too much keyboard and sequencers.

I am doing more WIFI MIDI controller, IPhone as a controller, and Beep Streets Drum contact app.

I love all his stuff way under rated.

    Geo is great
S Wiz is amaing and you can Xfer the sound into Geowiz as a preset.
Super responsive with all things midi

AND THE TOP REASON I LOVE GEO SHRED and this is similar in some ways

I just wish Geo Shred had MIDI.

  • (Although I think I've run out)

  • No way that four-pack is only two bucks.

    Which one ?

  • They make good apps - Geoshred is one of my favourites - but not so good on updates.

  • OK. Well. I spent that 2 dollars. Hope I don't get a better offer between now and Sunday night...

  • Truth is I love lottery tickets. Every time Mrs. Goodyear takes The Beast to the kennel she stops at a gas station out in Dripping Springs and buys a ticket or two. In turn, I buy an app.

I use to protest about what a waste of money the tickets were, I don't do that anymore...

I have the same. Maybe I'm not the niche market. Could be the visuals. I hope they can be forever turned off in this app.

  • Six pack = $1.99 in east Texas

Where in East Texas? Never heard of Panther, but if it's any good, it might be worth the trip. Cheapest I've ever seen for a 6-pack of anything drinkable anywhere near Dallas was 5 bucks for Lakewood's Zomer Pils (and I jumped right on that).

So that's like 5 bucks, right? Not bad for a decent beer like Tsingtao.

One of those algorithmic composer dealie-bobs. If I'd known refunds are possible on the app store (software is never returnable at a real store) then I would have immediately put in a request and not carry a grudge. Serves me right, those things never sound very good, but I was carried away with the excitement of finally joining the iPad party.

    Right.

Here's my main use for this Johnny.

I use this for accents and leads on the most basic level.

So many other apps can get complicated by my own doing, Tachyon allows me to keep it simple in an expressive fun manner.

Speaking of expressive, I FREAKING LOVE AC SABRE. Wow.

Never had such pleasure playing strings and pads as well as ARPS on things like LaPlace.

It is indeed, considering I don't generally like lager, I prefer ales such as bitter or stouts. Which reminds me. It's been quite a while since I made a batch of home brew beer.

Here is the best way to describe it.

Composer at the orchestra meets you selecting chords or arp combos to be played.

Stand with your hand out in front of you.

    That is the C3 position.

To the right -----------------C4 notes and up
To the left------------------C2 notes and down

Move arm up, down, twist, jitter, rotate-----------are all programmable parameters and modulations.

    It connects really easy.

I am killing Laplace ARPs into bizarro land along with beautiful orchestra pieces in Sampletank.

    Well WELL worth it.

Best Controller app I ever bought. So cool and creative

I am into movement so that is me. I move around alot when I do music

  • Is AC Sabre iPhone only?

  • Yes i think. But on iPad its tricky to handle it.

  • I keep meaning to try gestrument with a Kinect
