LOUD Dub Siren Tutorial │ Phasemaker - haQ attaQ 190
I love siren sounds and especially when they're loud, sharp and can cut through any mix! Well be using one instance of Phasemaker by Bram bos and a Steinberg Cubasis 2 compressor. This is the a recreation of the siren used in my x9 Phasemaker track video.

I initially though you would need to use a modulator, didn't think it would be as simple as a pitch envelope
@AndyPlankton It really is quite a simple patch when one has access to a pitch envelope. Nice thing is that since this sound isn't FM synthesis specific, one could reproduce this result in any other synthesiser. Granted that the synth has a way of modulating pitch with an envelope. No filters needed either. =D
Triangle lfo on pitch works too, if the lfo can be set to restart on trigger ... uuuiiiiooo
