MOOG MODEL 15 - Using the Sequencer to play into Animoog (or other iOS synths)
Is it possible to use Model 15's sequencer to play a sequence (via internal midi) across to Animoog or another iOS synth?
---- I've tried this unsuccessfully !
I did notice that the keyboard would trigger the notes inside Animoog and Nave (yes - I still love Nave) - but refused to be controlled by the sequencer....
I was hoping to use the Model 15 sequence(sound included) in combination / layer of an additional synth.....
Seemed strange that the additional synth played the note from the Model 15's keyboard and not the held sequenced pattern that I created !?!?!?
What the Hell am I doing or not doing...
Realize, your dealing with a complete novice who knows very little in the world of making music..... The Jerry Lewis of IOS Music..
Thanks for any advice / support in heading me to a solution to the ground breaking idea...(thats sarcasm there in the groundbreaking comment)..

I don't think it's possible. The sequencer in Model 15 probably works with the synth engine and not midi, so the midi out would only be the note you pressed as you explained. That being said, using path origin modulation with an lfo and other things, like inserting the silence timbre, you can get some pretty great rhythmic sequences in Animoog. I would recommend going wild with the Animoog modulation.
Thank You for your explanation - Understand your recommendation on Animoog -
--- I will look into trying that.
