  • Changed my musical life and outlook.
Thanks to all who contributed to that :)

I'm thankful for the AB/iOS music community that shares so much (sometimes too much...LOL). I'm thankful that back in 2011 (almost in a whim), I got an iPod touch and shortly thereafter discovered some goofy but fun music making apps which lead to so much more (now 2 iPads and an iPhone). I'm thankful for my app addiction...no wait...errr.

iOS music making has given me so much, from making my own albums to international collaborations, and to meeting new people in real life. I give back when and where I can but I could never give back as much as I received. So a big heartfelt Thank You to everyone here that contributes!

  • Great thread idea Triton. I wholeheartedly agree & thank the iOS music community, the musician/producers and developers, for the amazing year & a half I've had.

I haven't had this much fun, or got as much creative energy going since the early days of working with cassette PortaStudios and ADAT's. I like desktop DAWs but the freedom and mobility, hands on experience and more bang for buck have made me choose iOS music production exclusively for my music production, writing & demos.

  • Sometimes I wish Apple had a button in Appstore that we could press and give the developer more cash - without greedy Apple taking 30% of that too...

  • Very thankful to all the hard working developers who have brought us such wonderful apps. Ios music making rekindled my joy of creating something of worth
Like to thank especially my dear departed parents for letting me be me

  • Ah yes, it is a joyous time in app land. Praise be to the lovely developers, even those who are forced to abandon their work. At least they tried!

  • Big thanks to all who awesome IOS music developers!

  • Very grateful to the machines and the people without reservation*. Devs and users both.

*With the hanging exception of @lukesleepwalker who almost forced me to buy ROTOR and, you know, we'll see.

It changed my life. I bought an iPad back in 2012 to read comic books on. And then one day I downloaded GarageBand and Sunrizer, I actually hesitated before doing so because I was worried that with my obsessive personality I was about to head down a rabbit hole without end....

I still haven't come up for air.

  • Thank you. This is much apprecaited. :)

Chop in blocs wave, AB to AS, trim, save and then open into iMovie. Record a shot on a cloudy day, few tweakings. Save. Share with instagram...

    From feelings to share straightforward.
Blessings to everyone making it possible <3

same here, bought an ipad for browsing (got tired of carrying a laptop), to read comic books and a little bit of gaming. but one day i played with garageband, everything changed, i could actually write songs with this. then, i discovered that there are lot more music apps... which inspired me to write songs in different ways using these apps.

i am waiting for the day that there will be an app similar to the pulse engine (step, arp, loop and wave) of signal by output, driving the synths app in ipad.

  • Very thankful for this whole business. Special thanks to the devs who make it all possible. It's not easy or lucrative and yet they do it anyways. And if it weren't for their frequent innovation with music interfaces for the touch screen, I think a lot of us wouldn't have come this far. Cheers!
