Roland sound canvas - Tips for layering sounds
Hi all,
Just found myself buying Roland Sound Canvas yesterday and found that the midi channels are fixed for each of the 16 parts. This means that if you play from a midi keyboard that sends only one channel you cannot layer any sound.
After some thinking my solution was to use Midi Bridge app and clone each of the incoming channel in each of all other channels with its Stream Byter functionality. Now when I send on Midi channel 1 , all the 16 channels are received by Sound Canvas app and therefore I can layer sounds.
How did the rest of you find a solution to this?
I was thinking to share my solution just to ensure others don't frustate too much ( as I did yesterday at first glance).
