I'd suggest you buy Enkl- it's very good

Just picked it up for £1.50 or something in the BF sale.

It sounds lovely. There's some great, great patches in there. Lots of nice modern sounding stuff.

The keyboard is also fab. The UI is very nice.

It works as an AU.

It seems very simple to get your head round programming it.

A really nice surprise

  • Doubleplus.
I picked it up this week and am really enjoying it.

  • Amazing value right now. It's the price of half what other synths charge for some presets.

Also - the keyboard looks like it could be very nice midi out keyboard - if it sends the y axis out as midi ccs

  • It seems very simple to get your head round programming it.

That has sold it to me. I'm allergic to synths. Thanks.

  • It's less than a coffee too

  • Bought yesterday, same opinion. Great synth and not heavy with the CPU

  • ENKL is one of those hidden 'iOS GEMs'.

I particularly like the arpeggiator and the 'raw' sound and it being an AUv3 makes it a 'no brainer'.
I've had it since day #1...

    Thought you'd like it, @Samu.

Any chance you could explain it to us mere mortals. For example I noticed the FM/AM switch on each Osc. How does that work? Does FM mean that one osc switches to apply single osc FM on the other Osc (rather than making any sound)? What if they are both switched to FM?

Obviously I could RTFM - but where's the fun in that :)

Just think of the FM and AM as 'Vibrato' and 'Tremolo'.
There are plenty of VIdeos on ENKL out there by our favourite Youtubers :)

Oh, damn...it sounds so good...I think it's gonna be a unexpected purchase.

  • Yeah it's a beast...I hope they make a polyphonic version

  • Good manual, too.
I must say, it seems a simple little synth, and it is, but there's depth in there that you may not at first appreciate.

  • Love this and as with all their gear, (particularly Haaze) they make the learning curve so much easier for folk like me. Cannot believe the power this wee beauty spews out. FUN.
    Thanks. :)

Don’t want to diss ppl but anything from Klevgr I tried isn’t my sonic taste.
    Maybe it’s just me.

Welcome to the club. Only Skaka seems to stand out because of its "neutrality" and I can fully recommend it as an organic natural sound generator. Did you give it a try?
