Small Business Saturday - Reviews Day!

Considering the vast majority of music apps are made by very very small businesses, I'd like to encourage everyone here to take a few minutes today to review apps they love.

Encouraged by @tonappas, I just spent 30-40 minutes trolling my "purchased" list on my phone, adding or updating my reviews. Most of them were just a star rating and short blurb. I got through around 30 of them! I only picked music apps and only by indie devs (lots of apps, had to pick somehow! Sorry korg). I was surprised to find:

  1. That I hadn't ever left a review for a few of my favorite apps/devs
  2. How many popular and forum loved apps have a "We haven't received enough ratings yet..." notice at the top of their App Store page
  3. A few apps that I'd previously thought were iPad only became universal without me noticing. Bonus!

Anyway, please consider taking a few minutes today to support our iOS music small businesses. It's free!

  • +1.

It's the right thing. It's also sensible game theory. If we don't support the good ones, encourage the buyers and the devs, where's the new development going to come from to feed our insatiable needs? :)

    Off to do some.

    Indeed.

  • I received a handful of new reviews. Thanks, appreciate it enormously (not just from a marketing angle; good feedback is very motivational and makes yours truly a happy panda!).
