In the future we'll have full 3D spherical augmental reality interfaces, and all you'll have to do is reach out and step into the detail and use both hands to grab a waveform cut and join them together using a poke mongo. Meanwhile, something's happening behind you and when you turn round, everything disappears and your coffee spills over and you've knocked the television over and trod on the cat.
Garageband. I'm a bassist who reads music, also live Sound and engineering. I love auria, gadget and many other apps.
When I'm writing songs - garageband. Everything you need is in it and it can open AU instruments if you need more. Then the projects open on garageband for Mac and logic.
From what you said, it's exactly what you need. And you already have it if you bought your device new.
I admit that you have a very special advantage then... let's call it a draw![;) ;)](https://forum.loopypro.com/resources/emoji/wink.png)
(even with some endurance from rock climbing I fail in that domain)
AudioShare's auto-zoom after tap-hold is a nice approach and reasonably timed for an occasional use.
For continous edits a faster response would be useful (preferences)
Cubasis works great after they updated with this new time stretch feature which makes it possible to fit and use all your recordings/samples into any project you like.
Love it more and more and connecting all your apps and instruments (with or without midi support) makes it one of the best daws available.
This is almost here, can't wait! We will also all be rfid chipped and partly transhuman. Our minds and bodies will be re-encoded with enhanced dna so original inspiration will no longer exist. All music will be condensed down to an almost inaudible equally distributed drone that will keep us in line with an AI controlled continuum . Coffee along with other stimulants and drugs will be constantly administered via nano particles in the sterilised air. Pets will be mostly robotic ..they occasionally will be troddened over. Did I mention it will constantly rain and geisha girls will pop pills on large screens and Vangelis music fades in and out as we grapple with the last embers of original thoughts and feelings that go momentarily unnoticed by the central controller.
The future of music looks pretty good after all. Happy music making while you can!
On the augment reality subject. There's an amazing instrument/add-on you can work with guitars out there... Can't rmbr what its called. It uses proximity sensors and you can sort of hover/wobblye your hand over your fretboard as you play to effect the sound. Someone on here will know what its called..
Also saw a great TedTalks (or was it TechCrunch?) vid by artist Imogen Heap a while back.. she was trying to create a kind-of augmented reality / glove instrument. Prototype at the time but probably come a ways since. Shes an intersting figure IMO, another part of her business was to create a new platform of sorts to connect fans and artists in a newer way. Going deep with stuff like metadata attached to the finished tracks to give detail about instruments used, setups , recording methods etc. That was about 8months ago I think.
OP
What are the best and worst days of your life?
In answering this, you probably have the answer to your creative block.
Being that you came to a place like this for advice, I would guess you have substantial internal dialogue.
Listen to yourself. You have the gifts of yourself and your desire to make music.
