iPhone 7 with audio/MIDI devices

Sorry if already asked, but there is anyone using The iPhone 7 with audio and/or MIDI devices? If so, how?

Comments

  • Yes, I use mine with my DAC in the studio, with a Dragonfly red while out and about, and also with a Qunexus when I need MIDI control. Works fine, no issues at all, same as any other iOS device on that front.

  • I only use it as a MIDI device with AC SABRE

That really interesting @RustiK and thank you for bringing to my attention this original thing that had eluded me

  • Realized after getting my 7 that I can't work on music with my iRig Keys unless I buy that goddamn audio/charging adaptor or else a bluetooth keyboard ah fuck

Someone persuade me that the Nanokey Studio keyboardy-looking keys arent as horrible as they look..,cuz the MicroKey controllers feel nice as hell but I don't want to drop $100+ and get no knobs out of it.
