AudioReverb Virsyn AU bug(?)

Anyone else having problems with this reverb as AU in modstep ? not being able to have more than one instance ?
i can load several, but i only get 1 reverb no matter which instance i edit.

if i have 2 instances, with 2 different room sizes i only get 1 reverb if i change the Dry/Wet on one of them the changes mirrors to the other instance...

  • We have tested this scenario here with several AU hosts ( Cubasis, AUM, ... ) and it worked here. Sorry, we have no modstep App here, have you get it working with other AUs ?

    I have part of the same problem in AUM. the spaces are different and remain different in all instances but changing the wet level in one changes it in the other instances as well on re-opening them.
    also, the first instance loads really fast while the next one takes quite a while to load.

  • Had same problem in AUM sort of i deleted it from one chain after having multi instances up and the lot dropped out. Ipad pro 9.7. Ios 10.

  • I'm unable to freeze or mixdown a track using Cubasis. It ends in a distorted sound mixed with a high pitch sound. Anyone else have this issue ?

    Sounds (distortion and high pitched noise) a bit like the issue I had when my buffer size was set to 64 samples in AUM. The Freeze process in Cubasis is 'sensitive' to buffer size(s) so it might be worth to try with different settings there.

    Unfortunately it didn't worked after I changed polyphony, latency, bit resolution and sample rate. It ended with the same distorted pitched noise.
    I'm not sure if it's a Cubasis or Virsyn issue.

    Oki, Maybe this is something @VirSyn and Steinberg @LFS can give a closer look?
    There has been some freeze related problems with other apps in the past...

    What you could do is to check if you can record thru AudioReverb using other hosts and see if that works.

    Even though I am a recovering app-a-holic I do not have access to every single app so I can't do any further investigation or bug-hunting.

    Hopefully this will be sorted out asap.
