@yug I think that Drum Session and this one are the apps that are closest to EZDrummer so far.

Ok, thanks. I have no experience with EZDrummer, so when people started comparing these 2 apps to it, it didn't really tell me anything and I had to use my own words to describe what I'm after :)

EZ drummer is what some of my friends here in Austin who don't iOS tell me is the reason why etc...

    Ah sorry....

Have you got your burt bacharach records cigar and a nice curry too. (Shades of the good life)

Made a pizza last night (well, two at the same time). Brown bread flour dough, yeast was a bit slow, and the tomato puree was the last two big beef tomatoes of the season from the garden, blended and simmered. I'm rubbish at cooking but quite like making bread things. Very low cost, too. Didn't realise that 'non-stick' pizza pans actually meant 'will interminably weld your pizza to the pan', though. Need to grease the pans first next time.

Next time, skip the pan and try a pizza stone. I bet they have those in England. They're not very expensive and they look like slates made out of ceramic. Just lightly dust the thing with cornmeal right before you put your pizza on it. No more sticking, and better crust. For a conventional oven, it's the best way to go.

I've been looking at one of those, they'd be a good thing to have. Also, making my own pizza paddle/peel from wood. But the next thing you know, you're halfway to building a stone pizza oven and where will it stop, opening a restaurant?

I hear ya. "Gear Acquisition Syndrome" ain't just a synthesizer issue. I love outdoor cooking, got a new grill last year, now I gotta figure out how to explain to my wife why I need a pellet smoker...

I guess it's safe to say you didn't have to sign an NDA?

That made me guffaw. I appreciate the advanced look at this beast though.

If it's as thorough as Positive Grid's guitar apps and fully editable, meaning full control of pattern editing/creation, sample import/export, individual instrument output, etc. then this thing could be incredible.

With Drum Perfect Pro, Derek's new Drum Session and now this we're entering a golden age of "real/acoustic" drum apps for iOS that's been a long time coming.

  • Yeah, hopefully!
