Not impressed by the GUI. £14.99?
Looking like £18.99 to me.
Glitch and crash fest on iPad 3. Hopefully better on a recent device.
Again, on iPad 3, the GUI is too dark to see unless the display settings is wide open. A saved song is not saved upon reopening. I'm sure Derek will either correct these deficioncies or target the product for newer devices. Still, this looks like a great step forward in iOS drumming.
It is a bit dim looking for the gui agreed but low level settings on air 1 suffice and my 55 year old eyes are bad.
It is raining here today so stuck indoors with this app and my ILoud and a guitar all day! Oh woe is me
Wake up everybody ! Today is national drum session day! Time for your beating!
Yeah, £18.99. With a GUI like that. No introductory price. Pass. Native Instruments' Studio Drummer here I come. 50% sale on NI stuff BTW.
Cya Frankie, have fun I know I am loving this beast of an app! Going to miss your humor.
Wow, there really are tons of loops with this beast.
It's well known that the value of an app has nothing to do with how well the music sounds and everything to do with how pretty it is to mine own untalented eyes.
Good on you Frankie
This app is a beast for sure. I've bought and used his loops in the past - back in the days I would use a custom kit in BeatMaker 2 and have to go through the arduous process of loading a loop at a time to find the one I wanted to use. Things are so much easier now.
Anyone found any video reviews yet? I really miss Dougs reviews. Hope you are not too bad with your illness Doug. We miss your cheerful voice
Definitely having issues with the stop button. Locks up and wont do anything, just keeps on playing till closing the app
Air2 latest ios
Air 1 ver.9.3.5 no stop button issue. Have you rebooted your iPad yet? Are you running stand alone or in Audiobus?
I've rebooted a couple of times. Locked up in standalone and iaa in cubasis. Cant getting anything to record in cubasis except playing the keys
I like the UI. Love the app. I believe 24.99 is the intro price. So, if you don't want it, wait for Positive Grid to roll out theres. One of them has got to be "The One" Right?
I was beta testing PG's app, I wasn't too keen on it. But, maybe that's cuz I'm a crappy beta tester. No one should suck at it as much as I do. lol......
Question for you Bootsy: when you have the stop button issue are you at all able to add/remove loops from the timeline? You should be able to do so during playback I think.
Iam mostly into edm and other electronic music, will i have any use for this ?
I haven't tried that wayni, it just seemed like it was locked up while playing. I rebooted and used it in AB and didn't have the problem, but it was a short test.
There is an update waiting for Apple...should fix crash. I'm submitting the stop/rewind issue today to be looked at
Are you using IAA in cubasis? Works fine on my end records all midi notes
Add midi track. In cubasis
Tap the piano on track
Select instrument tab when lower portion shows up
Pick drum Session
In Drum Session, drag loops to timeline
Hit the record button for cubasis on IAA
Hit pause when done
Switch to cubasis and track should be laid out
Play back and switch kits in Drum Session if you want to switch it up
Recorded audio out of Drum Session into Cubasis via Audiobus with no problem here also.
Not able to record midi via Interapp here either Also when I hit record in cubasis , drum session ignores the two bar count in I have set up. I will try with out the count in but still not sure why cubasis is not capturing what is played? A setting in midi I am missing somewhere is my best guess.
How do you disable the overly 'wet' reverb?
Did that and got nothing. What do you have your ins and outs set at? I tried about every combo.
Never mind I got it working. Operator error. Thanks again Derek!
I got the pre count problem sorted out once I found the precount button by tapping tempo and it is at the bottom. Still no midi notes being recorded and am fairly sure It is user error. I will try more when I get done stacking firewood.
Yeah...I was freaking out too at first...me and my fingers wanting to mess with too many things I didn't need to...lol
An update for some bug fixes will be available sometime today
