Back in this ipad music thing(got some new gear)
I had have been using my ipad just as a soundbank in ableton(via studiomux) for a while after realizing that ipad alone is not my thing. But now i bought an arturia minibrute se(my first real synth) the other day(birthday present form mom) and i just had to get another interface(scarlett 6i6), just so that i can dedicate my old one(ur22) for my ipad Tried using my irig2 first, but it was simply way too noisy, picked up all kinds of interferences and sucked all the tone out. I think this setup is wicked, especially with the routings i came up with:
Minibrute is hooked to my computer via usb, so i can send midi both ways(play with ableton push or other midi controller, or just record midi to ableton from minibrute itself). The two interfaces are hooked via midi and ur22 outputs goes to 6i6's input, so i can also play ipad synths from computer side(and from minibrute) and layer them with minibrutes sounds. Normal output from minibrute goes to the rack compressor and eq and from there to ur22 hooked to ipad, so i can also use ipads effects with the minibrute and record to blocs wave. Headphone out from minibrute goes to 6i6, so that i dont have to hook up my ipad to use it, and can also mix the wet and dry signals on ableton. Also got a mic hooked to ur22 so i can record guitar/bass to blocs wave with it(blocs wave is one big reason why i went for another interface, because i love recording audio loops with it much more than to ableton), or just use the preamp of my guitar amp and power amp from bias. And whats super neat, is that there doesent appear to be latency, which i was kinda afraid of routing through two interfaces.
Now i need a drum app, that has ableton link. I would buy the drum session in a heartbeat, but sadly there is no link, and its kinda crucial in this setup(unless ofc i recorded the drum loops to blocs wave or ableton first).
So which ones of the good drum apps has link? Or should i just wait for the pg drum app and hope it has link, or get drum sessions and hope that link is out soon?
Ps. dont worry, my guitar obsession isnt as bad as it looks, the one on the front is actually 30" baritone guitar/bass type of thing like bass vi(to which i havent gotten proper bass vi strings yet), acoustic i got half free and strat is a cheapo i got as a temporary guitar when started playing guitar again, just so i could see if the hobby would hold or not, and is not currently even in playing condition.

DrumJam
Yup. And Patterning. And Elastic Drums if drum synths are your thing.
All of the above plus SeekBeats and Different Drummer
I forgot to say that i want something with ready loops. I already got dm2(and elastic drums, but prefer dm2 over it) and can program drums on ableton push. I just noticed that soft and rock drummer has link now, but im not really sure if they are for me I wish the pg's ai drum thing came out already, it seems perfect for what im looking for..
