Apple Lightning to USB 3 Camera Adapter : any issues with audio interface?

Anyone care to comment on their experience using this adapter?
In particular, I'm a bit concerned of some reports of noise when powered by the lightning port and standard mains iPad charger.
I'm planning to use this with an iPad Air (iOS 9.3.5) with a Roland Duo-capture EX, but don't really want to risk spending £40 to create a ground loop hum or other issues.

So far I've not noticed any noise on my notation audio hub nor my iconnectaudio4+ using the cck3.
I get a lot of noise whenever I plug a charger into it. Using a battery bank instead completely eliminates the noise.
I have a Scarlett 18i8 and it is permanently plugged into my Lightning to USB3 adapter with power to the adapter when iPad (Air 2) is plugged in - I've never had noise using it. I'm in the UK and I get the feeling from this and other forums that noise issues may be more prevalent in the US, maybe it's a grounding/earth problem that depends on your local wiring? Are all US plugs & sockets grounded? Just guessing ...
what is the interface you are using ? on both my interfaces i dont get any noise even when using a wallsocket.

Im now using an usb hub or an usb y cable with a battery connected to supply extra power (old cck), but it doesnt charge the ipad. Is this new cck the solution to power devices and charge the ipad ?
What USB hubs are you Gents using with ipads?
I tried that with my Griffin studio dock interface and had just as much noise. I was hoping the battery would solve it. I also know with any interface I plug-in I get tons of noise. I have no doubt that the wiring in my house is terrible as well as the wiring in the venues in which I've also tried that setup. When I use my line 6 interface I get no noise at all but that's because nothing is connected to the main power. But it also means I can't charge my iPad except in between sets on gigs so I have to remember to keep it charged.
I use this CCK between my iPad Pro 12.9" and an Apogee One for iOS/Mac - flawless!

I think it depends a lot on the electrical wiring of your location and other environmental factors, such as fluorescent lighting. Equipment too. My FrankenStrat is noise prone.
I have the same problem whether I'm using my iRig Pro or Lexicon Lambda. It's just one of those things that is a problem for some and not for others. A battery bank totally cures it for me, but apparently not for everyone.
