Can I use your Dictaphone?
Apropos of MPE, I'm wondering if there's a perspective whereby musical execution need not be dependant upon fingers and hands. Not everyone has full flexibility or control over their digits, and with the future of MIDI receptive to new interpretations of implementations, what else could an artist use to express and manipulate, that is multidimensional and polyphonic? Up until now, most instruments require the clever and careful learned manipulation of fingers and hands, but now there's perhaps no reason why this should automatically continue to be solely true.
