just finished a track, 100% gadget, mixed in auria with stock plugins and light crystalline on one of the lexington tracks.

Yep, right up my street. I think you're doing yourself a disservice with the 'pop' bit in the title though.
This is deep groovy goodness!
hey thanks! hmm, it's what came to mind because it feels happy to me. but yeah, my idea is pop is not the norm. lemme change the title.
Great stuff. Nice and phat bass groovr
Very good! Congrats! Only stock PSPs? Well done!
Thanks man. Yeah. Was gonna use ddmf reverb but as my other thread stated i wasn't able to. Could have gone down to 512 since it was a pretty light session but i finished before we figured that out. Just used classic verb, stereodelay, and stereo chorus on one track. And then just channel, drum group and master dynamics/eq.
Great! Tight mix: congrats!
Yep. This is very nice.
Did you use stock samples from Bilbao or your own?
Thanks. My own. When i first got bilbao i sat down and made a bunch of folders. One is 16 of my favorite kicks, one is all 909 hats (the one i used here). (8 closed and eight open, it's what gives it the groove). One is just shakers, etc. Another just cymbals. Initially i had one 808 kit folder etc but i like everything separate so i can export and mix elsewhere.
Hey this is great! I like the bouncy bass part against the slinky rhythm of the shakers. Cool sound choices too for the pitched parts. I'm inspired to mess with mixing Gadget tunes in AP using all those wonderful FF plugs.
This is great. how did you export all the stems into Auria ? can you do this without needing a pc/mac ?
Last time I checked Gadget had DropBox support
That was a nice listen
got my head bobbing and feet tapping
Thanks. Bouncey bass is so easy and quick with this sequencer. With this type of music i don't even use the keys, just the grid and then inturn off quantize and record the automation in with the korg studio key.
Super easy, export to dropbox, individual tracks with tail and then import into auria. If i remember correctly there was an extra step in cubasis using audiocopy.
I might do it. I want to tweak some levels and could do it then but will probably wait to see if one of my dj friends wants it for a set. I tend to concentrate on just one track at a time and as soon as it's "done" i want to jump into another. I lose patience.
