Good as a loop maker.....I'm sure there are many cleverer ways, but I always find this easy, especially when also wanting to change speeds etc.
I've been playing with this for the last ten minutes, working on the opening riff of AC/DC's "Back In Black" (the little single-note part). Slowed down to 45%, it still sounded like itself, and I could practice the right sequence instead of picking motions until it was no longer a struggle.
I realize there are other ways to accomplish this, but if you're going to be doing a lot of it, this seems to be the best tool.
