Help with Ableton Link

Hi,
I can't get iOS apps to sync with ableton link, I've installed ableton lite on my PC. Enabled link, start an app on my iPhone/iPad and enable link. It connects and matches tempo but when I hit play it start playing instantly and is out of time unless I hit play at exactly the start of a bar. Any ideas?

When I link to other iOS apps they wait to trigger themselves at the start of the next downbeat

    Ok I was wrong, this is only happening on the iPhone, iPad is working as expected.. triqtraq and blocswave both doing this

    I have some timing issues with Link. I have noticeable latency connecting through studiomux, and if I just feed the iPad direct into my mixer (rather than using studiomux) then there is less lag, but link still seems to be a bit slow on the iPad .

    Thanks for the info, it's not that it's not in time.. the playhead doesn't wait until the start of the next bar before playing. Its really strange, I might contact ableton support

    I think the Link implementation is down to individual developers, but the link standard says it should be in time , on beat and in phase (ie, on the bar). Several apps seem to start instantly , Seekbeats is one. It is a bit annoying when recording stuff

    the crazy thing is the same apps wait for the bar to go around on the ipad, but on the iphone they start instantly and though they are the same tempo they are not in time at all
