I know a lot of people find them kind of limited, but the price is right.

  • Get them worth every cent!

But does it still make sense to buy the effects packs if one owns the turnados, wows, fluxs, tonestacks, biases, muckrakers, dub filters etc. I really don't think so. Does it?

Also the new virsyn audioeffx audio unit.

  • I think because the effects are integrated they use less resources like memory and cpu power and storage.

@supadom: This feels right in theory, but in practice I never use them. I'm sure many do, but you wouldn't know which side of the fence you're on until the money's been spent. The good news is they're less fattening than eggnog.

  • I probably wouldn't use them, though integration does make life easier.

  • Exactly perfect for tracking!

    Iphone compatibility B)

    I wish!

On the other hand, I just talked Mrs Drelbs into buying it on sale - she wanted to learn a DAW, and I didn't want to start her off with BM2... (Gadget's probably not a good fit for her either.)

@LFS I would give you one million dollars to put the play button in the top right corner and make it double wide. I hit [Play] 40, 50, 60 times per session. I haven't hit [Help] in months. We have to aim for the play icon each time. I'd love to just bash the upper right corner.

If I had an extra one million dollars, that is. :)

I wonder if something like an optional "4 finger tap on the timeline area to play/stop" would work?

  • So any updates on any updates??lol
