What FM synth is this ?
I'm trying to pinpoit what synth was actually used for this track. It could be hardware: Sega or an FB01. That's what it sounds like. But as it seems to be noise free I thought it could also be a soft synth.

I don't know but since you mentioned FM, Sega and soft synth, there's a Reason Rack Extension that checks all those boxes called RYM2612.
reminds me on a lot of stuff you hear when browsing DX-7 banks.

The bass may be doubled frequently, as it's somewhat outstanding from the rest.
Spare effects to emphasize cheesyness, many sounds come quite raw.
I slightly tend towards a real DX-7...
...looks like the RYM2612 was released about 2 months ago and those City Guys soudcloud tracks are 10 months old but they all have a Megadrive tag and the RYM2612 is an emulation of a chip from that game console...
