+1 on the last statement, push comes to shove, I'd keep the SP3 over the Air 2. (I have the same pair of devices). Meanwhile I'm glad I don't have to chose, because so much fun is available in the unique iOS software market: Rotor lately but the list is very long
Even when in Bitwig or MTS (both have onscreen playing keyboards, and both like FL 12 have the right-click stuff covered). I keep the qwerty attached as often as not. It's a way to have the all-access pass into the soft. FL 12 especially has many powerful qwerty shortcuts, but they all have enough to make qwerty/mouse/trackpad sometimes worthwhile.
And having the option to go full mobile, tablet only, is the best of both worlds in a single device. The big thing for me are softsynths, and choosing between those available in iOS vs windows is no contest, as beloved as my iOS instruments are...again, I'm glad I don't have to choose. But to have Breaktweaker, or Serum, or Falcon to play while sitting on the grass beside the lake is just the best
The outlier in my workflow is an 15 yr old Dell tower, XP, with Creamware Scope cards, and MTS installed as well. But there still I use either Modstep on iPad or Bitwig on SP3 for cliplaunch sequencing. And editing those projects on MTS in either device.
I don't believe Mister Vicious wrote any of his ballads by a lake.
I'm sure he must have, between takes for butter adverts
Probably true.
Does it help at all that, even as I sit lakeside, "when I close my eyes, all I see is burning buildings"?
I think I understand you now....
