Slicr Demo Tutorial First Impression Video

I bit the bullet and purchased Slicr. So far, its an interesting app. It has some cool stuff but needs some feature love.

  • Looks like toytown compared to Blocs Wave. Really, they'll need to do a lot better than this half baked social media friendly experiment.

  • Does more than I expected. Thanks for the video!

  • Thanks for vid, looks like a replacement for my 2500.

For chopping samples it's very close and with next updates it should be good.

    Wow.

Is that a 'wow that's incredible, how is it I haven't bought this yet?' or a 'wow that seems most unlikely to believe?' ")

really nice video, because it was honest and also revealed where things can get stuck.
The recording screen already puzzled me in the shop display, but the hands on left me totally clueless. Looks like an rtfm exercise o:)
Manual slicing didn't convince me either - I do that on a simple timeline faster and with less effort.
Good point to mention non-adjustibility in the arranger view.
Reminds me on the Roland SP808 - lots of good ideas, but few to put them into a workflow.
