Is DM2 midi in broken after the big update or just the notes changed?
So i made this template for dm2 for my controller a while back, buuut its not working anymore since the update.. Wheni first tried it now, the closed hat and cowbell sometimes triggered the dm2, but with huge lag and like 1/10 times, and what it triggered was kick and snare at the same time, and sometimes just the snare. Then i reinstalled the app and now it doesent work even that much.
So did they change the notes that trigger the pads, or is it just broken? Does it work with anyone else? I know they changed some fundamental stuff on how the midi works and the notes to pads were really weird, so it would make sense for them to change them to something that makes sense. But then again changing some fundamentals on how the midi works, could easily fuck up the whole thing.
So?

I'm trying to make notes playing in modstep without sucess before and after the last update
It seems DM2 doesn't have MIDI input activated currently? I can get DM2 to play DM1 but not vice versa. I also played all of the MIDI notes and DM2 didn't respond to any of them. DM1 only responds to nine MIDI notes, the same ones DM2 sends out.
I emailed the developer about this issue.
I heard back from Pascal, the developer of DM2. He's aware of and working on a fix for the DM2 MIDI input issue. He also added that he's working on the following update:
Please note that the next update 1.3 will more more than 120 parameters to be controlled by Midi, with a Midi learn mode.
Good news! Thanks
Good info!
Thats really cool. I always wished that there were more stuff to be mapped.
Hi there. An 1.2.2 update with a fix for the Midi input issue is on its way.
DM2 version 1.3, coming up in 2017, will have more than 120 parameters to be controlled by Midi, with a Midi learn mode.
Excellent! Thanks
@Pascal@Audionomy great news, and app... we'll all be wondering when, what with all the months and seasons and impatiences coming in 2017.
