And so it continues, this awful year of celebrity apocalypse. Now George Michael is dead at 53. Someone, stop the madness.

i was watchung an old Top Of The Pops the other night and i got to thinking how at that time George seemed to have the world in the palm of his hand... and what a very different character he had become !
and now 4 days later i hear he is dead
Yeah, the mistakes made with his lifestyle probably did him no favours, health wise. But listening to the villagers where he lived (and ultimately died) it sounded like GM was enjoying a quiet life, at last.
