Awesome song, man. Drums do sound great, but I'm more impressed with the other aspects of the song. Definitely has a catchy/hooky/jangly Keith Richards vibe. Excellent guitar work all around. Great tone, and killer playing. Really really good.
Your vocals sound terrific, wish I had a voice like that. All things considered, that's a killer track. Bravo.
One thought which is more personal preference than anything. I think you should eliminate the fade out, and eliminate the final drum/symbol crash, letting "girl" stand alone. I think that would be a cool ending.
Again, terrific song as is. Looking forward to listening to some of your other stuff.
Normal im not into rock music but this one i enjoyed. Your style reminds me of : Jon Spencer - Blues Explosion. Nice.
Thank you so very much for listening and for your kind words. I appreciate it. Yes, I need to rework the ending. It really is a cop out. I'm hoping to get my next album out by the end of the summer, and I plan on revisiting this song and working out an ending. I'll definitely consider the crash in the chorus too. Thanks again for listening and taking the time to give me some feedback. If you're interested, my first album, is on iTunes, Spotify, etc., and it's also on Bandcamp where you can listen for free. Thanks, man.

That's so cool. Glad you like it. Thanks for listening.
Man, listened again and really love the tone and feel of the whole song! Like if it was recorded live at one of those cool days at the fair!!! Really well done man!
Hey would be so cool if you did a video someday how you put together the drum track. Got really creative on this one. No rush just if you ever get a chance would be great to learn.
Thanks!
I'll give it a go. Thanks, man.
Agree. Maybe .1% of the population would be able to tell. Maybe less. Nicely done.
So fn good! @supanorton finally listened in headphones and it sounds amazing! Such a catchy tune and well played. Congrats.
Thank you, sir.
Thanks so much; I appreciate it. Glad you like it.
Great job Artie! I liked the song and the production. What did you use effects-wise on the vocals? I thought your voice sat really well in the mix. I need to look at DS too!
Thanks, Russell. I used the EQ and compressor on Auria's channel strip with the fxpansion ChanComp and the PSP echo on the inserts. I love that ChanComp on vocals.
Mmmm...I'd never paid much attention to the ChanComp plug. Your vocals are a great testament to it though. Not to take away from your voice though. I think the effects just help to bring out a very nice voice.
Stones in the backroom for sure, but I can hear Mister Petty covering this one as well....
You've heard Tom Petty in a few of my songs over the past few years. You and @High5denied are the only two who've ever heard that in my stuff. Thank you, Mr. Goodyear; I appreciate the listen and the comment.
Great track! Heading over to Spotify now.
I was enjoying it so much that I completely forgot what was used to make it, which is probably a good thing.
In addition to all the influences already mentioned I'm going to chuck Cheap Trick in there, probably due to the harmonies. Definitely hit the "power pop" button for me.
Funny isn't it. Not even really saying it sounds like a TP song, but I can def. hear him covering it
Rock on! Really nice sustained energy throughout . Well thought out wailing lead guitar solos. Yup the drumming sounds to my ears absolutely authentic in every way. Great groove...congrats
Ya, for sure TP. Recently when I listen to your album, a lot of Stones comes through. georgia satellites, Drivin' N Cryin', maybe a bit of Black Crows. And yet, it's all Arttie!
Much appreciated! Thank you, kindly.
Thank you so very much for your comment and especially for listening.
That's good company! Thanks, Jason. Glad you're still listening.
