Rock Drum Machine Audiobus and Garageband
What I would like to do is:
1. Create a song length drum part in RDM's song mode
2. Open Audiobus, then choose RDM as the source
3. Set GarageBand as the destination
4. Press REC (somewhere), have RDM start playing after the count-in, using the tempo DEFINED in GB
THIS SHOULD BE EASY, RIGHT?
I haven't found a way to get RDM and GB to sync via midi, communicate tempo, and skip count-in
I'm not concerned about the count-in part, but simple midi sync is important.
While I'm on the subject, an AU implementation of RDM would be ideal.
It would be great to manipulate midi in GB while having RDM create the sounds.

What I would do is:
1. Create a song length drum part in RDM's song mode
2. Open Garageband, create a new song, make a very large section, set tempo as in RDM
3. open RDM as an inapp in GarageBand.
4. Press rec in GarageBand.
5. Start the song in RDM (it isn't in sync yet, don't worry about that now, and make sure you start recording AFTER the countdown)
6. And after recording: manually sync the recorded wave.
