    He's been quiet this year, the bone-idle bugger, but I always enjoy entries via Mr @Jocphone and so this one from the beginning of the year, which is just choc full of interesting bits and pieces:

    From my own bag of shriveled corns I'd probably pick this one - I was absent from here for most of the year, and haven't been active in the SOTM much since but I think I posted this in a Geoshred thread as a demo of what I'd squeezed out of its garish pixels:

    Thanks Monzo, I would like to provide an alibi to explain my whereabouts this year, but I can't. It's a fair cop, an idle, good for nothing is what I am. The falling in love, the working on a major secret project with another forum member, the learning of a new instrument and playing it live, all of these provide no justifiable excuse for not turning in my home work.

    But it's very thoughtful of you to remember my song. Thank you.

    Good idea for a thread...

    Having submitted very little (nothing possibly?) to SOTM this year, I dug this out.

    It's a demo track I did for showing what iWavestation can sound like (it's a fair few Milpitas gadgets, plus some other Gadget synths too). Although it's supposed to be a short simple track... to me it sounds like it needs a last section. Maybe one day :).

    Will post my favourite track shortly.

    I've made a sacrifice digging deep into this year's offerings and got biggest hit from @JohnnyGoodyear's August track

    Since I've just written and recorded this one, it is my current favourite.

    P.s. Recorded and mixed in 3 hours in Cubasis with no external effects other than Bias on bass. Mastered in Audio Mastering app. Video made with the new LumaFusion video app.

    All IOS baby!

    Thanks. I played the song informally at the New Year's Eve last night, just drums, acoustic guitar and voice. People loved it!
