Model 15 multiples jack question
So in the manual, it says that any signal connected to any one of the four multiples jacks will be output at the other three. Does this mean there can only be one input? And any additional connections will be considered splits of the input? What if I put four connections in there? I'm confused how the inputs and outputs are determined. Like if I have two in there and remove one, does it switch from an input to an output and vice versa? I'm probably overthinking it but can some kind soul set me straight on this?
Comments
I believe it works fine with multiple inputs as well. Obvious you can put 4 inputs in there, but with no way to route out of it then, might as well just leave them unplugged.
@Tarekith thanks for the response. As I understand it, it is dependent on what you have plugged in there. If I plug in something that is being output from elsewhere, then it's treated as an input to the multiple. If I connect it to an input elsewhere, then it's treated as an output. So like you said, 4 inputs are worthless, as would be 4 outputs. Does this sound about right?
