Milpitas manual?

Is there a link for the Milpitas manual ? - I don't mean the full iWavestation one- just the Milpitas- my Gadget link will not take me there.
Thanks

  • I don't think there is one.

  • There's the iwavestation one and the gadget one.

But there's no mention of Milpitas in the Gadget guide.

  • Yes there is
:Go to menu> app information> manual . There is also the original manual there which is on a separate tab.. Choose "manual".. That's the iOS one.. G-d, I feel so good ACTUALLY KNOWING SOMETHING on here.

I still can't get it- when I go to Gadget guide- I get the whirly wheel for ages- then it gives up- and sometimes even manages to disconnect me from the net.

Where is the menu page located for this suggested route?

In iWavestation, going to Info, there is a link to the Manual and the Original Manual. However, the OP asked for a Milpitas manual, not the iWavestation manual. I don't know why this is important since Milpitas is just a subset of the iWavestation and the inapplicable parts can just be ignored, but the answer remains "I don't think there is one" to the OP.

@robosardine, here are the direct links for each of the Gadget manuals. You should be able to view them in Safari, if not from within Gadget. If you can't, then you might try saving them to iBooks and opening them there. It doesn't help for Milpitas, but is good to have for the rest of Gadget.

These are all big files, so maybe you're just running out of resources when trying in Gadget. Or, the internet connection is slow, so it's timing out. If so, then trying to open in iBooks may help.

  • Great- thanks for that. I was wanting a Milpitas guide itself to save me going back and forward and having to work out what was applicable and what was not. I had assumed that there was a specific Miltipas guide to be had- so it was mainly for convenience. I think that I was expecting the big one to be quite complicated and the Gadget one much simpler.
But there is not one! Slight surprise- or maybe not. I find it quite unbelievable the amount of time some developers spend developing an app- then don't take the time to knock together a decent guide for the customers.

It was timing out- but I have a lot of memory in hand- and my internet is downloading reasonably speedily- I'm hardly ever kept waiting..

Anyway- back to the task.. cheers :)

Ps I know how you feel Telstar 5- for a while I felt I was mainly taking and not giving much- but that is the nature of joining a forum. In a while it will be a different story- you will soon be hanging alongside the wise old bats in the belfry.
