Sure, that would be loads of fun...if it were a bit easier to understand. I enjoyed faffing around with it, but couldn't claim to understand what I was doing. So may be a little more friendly for those of us without a degree in music theory.
Oh, an it absolutely MUST have the usual connectivity, no excuses. If such a thing came to pass, I'd roll the dice.
Sure, I feel like Philip Glass already.
With midiout, state saving & link?
Link with some extras like half the time of the link Tempo and stuff ..
Has anyone else tried http://helioworkstation.com ? No matter how many times I dump it for not being wider 'workflow'-ey, I still have a wet soft spot for it.
@u0421793 i gave helio a shot. It's got the right idea for sure, but felt a little wonky to me. But I do like being able to see midi patterns for all instruments simultaneously. This is the only thing that makes straight up note programming palpable for me personally, I wish more devs who put piano rolls in their apps would consider this type of thing more.
It would be very nice if it would be location aware
I always have to look twice if it says "b" (that's "h" in German notation, "b" is "ais")(c major is c,d,e,f,g,a,h,c)
I talked endlessly with the soundprism guys about this,
but it's a request they've chosen to ignore. (And they are German too &_&)
(Ik will ordentliche deutsche notation mann @Sebastian and not this American Gulasch )
