Sorry for this guys. This one has already been reported a few times. I will work on a fix as soon as possible. A huge bug on iOS external keyboard midi handling was also discovered. This one makes a single external keyboard key press to trigger 3 voices on the same frequency. The result is a phasing sound. As always, beta testers are welcome. I should start beta testing of 1.1.0 this week.

Yes, when first launching DRC, after a few seconds it then flips to the hi res version, just before the synth itself gets displayed.

Do you also have a iPad Air 2?

I've not seen the 'startup image' behaviour but my iPad Air 2 (iOS10.2) just shows 'blurred icons' for ~3 seconds before the logo appears and the app starts. (Don't know what is causing this startup lag though).

iPad mini 2, latest iOS

I have an iPad mini 2 but it is still on iOS 9. I have an iPhone 6 Plus but it is still not running the latest iOS. I don't like to have the latest version on all devices to ensure that I have a few different test cases. I will update to the latest iOS on the iPhone 6 and see if the problem appears there.

I'm testing version 1.0.0 of DRC that aims to fix some of the problems reported here and others:

• Fixed a bug that would trigger three notes with a single note press from a external midi controller (iOS only).
• Fixed a bug that would cause a single touch to activate two chord keys at the same time.
• Fixed a bug that would prevent Factory Expansion bank from being persisted across sessions.
• Fixed a bug that would cause a slider to "jump" when first touched causing an unwanted value change.
• Fixed a bug that prevent midi channel filter from working correctly.

To fix the bug that prevented Factory Expansion bank to be persisted I had to refactor a few things on everything related with patch manager. I want to ensure the version that goes to the store doesn't suffer from any unexpected issue.
