Unicorn: Bluetooth EarBuds 0 latency?
Looking for bluetooth ear buds for iPhone commuting and gym for making and listening to music.
I already have my Sens's for the studio.
Run down. XMAS.....Got Beats to try them. Junk ! I was actually was appalled and insulted that such a low quality item is being peddled through hype and that Apple is involved any way is disappointing.
Last week: Got a set JayBirds. Better sound than Beatz but still shit for my ears. These also seemed to make my IPhone 7 plus act like I had Auria running on it.......(figuratively).
I don't know why, but the earbuds strained my iPhone for everything I tried to do.
Is it possible for qualtiy and 0 latency blue tooth ear buds?
Which kind?
Looking to spend $100-$200.

Bluetooth audio and zero latency will only work when we are sucked into a black hole and that changes the laws of physics.![;) ;)](https://forum.loopypro.com/resources/emoji/wink.png)
But the consolation is you can listen to your music, before you've even composed it.![:o :o](https://forum.loopypro.com/resources/emoji/open_mouth.png)
Short answer: No
Long answer: I can't think of any possible way using earbuds would tax your iDevice processor. There has to be some other issue. The only thing the phone sees is the impedance of the headphones. That wouldn't effect the processing power in any way.
There will always be latency with BT media audio because your device has to compress the audio before transmitting it via BT.
BT phone audio (what's used for phone calls) is really low quality and doesn't need to be compressed, so has no latency.
If BT technology improves so that the bandwidth is high enough to not have to compress the audio, maybe we could have the same latency as wired headphones... Maybe BT v5...?
Even The most expensive Bluetooth headphones you could buy would have latency. I thought it was common knowledge in this forum. It's been discussed a lot. Maybe Bluetooth 5 or 6 in the coming years.
