Are you guys saying even after dimming via the OS, it's still too bright? Or that the OS dimming features aren't doing it for you, visually (contrast too low, etc)?

It wasn't so bad in iOS 9, I used speak screen all the time, but that is fucked up in iOS 10 if you are multilingual, it tries to read me English website with the German voice. Well done apple. It's still not fixed in10.2 I'm so thankful for the new emojis arrrgh fuck it there is zero quality control for the software these days.

Some forums have 2 layouts to choose from when you are logged in, usually it's a light and a dark mode ... no idea if vanilla does that.

There's no java involved in that at all. It is a javascript function that adds or overrides some css.

If it's an easy thing to add I'm all for it. If it takes away the valuable Loopy3/AB3 coding time I'm all against it.

Could be cool on the phone. But whats more important when it comes to phone(newest ios safari) is to fix the thing where going back from a topic to forum home page puts you on the top of the page, even if you were on the bottom of the page where you went in that topic. This doesent happen with ipad(ios 9.something) or desktop

That is annoying. I find that if you touch the screen for a sec as soon as you go back, you can usually get it to stop. Still annoying but 100% Vanilla forum software, not Mike and Seb.
