Shout out to Discchord & Tim Webb
Wanted to mention my great appreciation for Tim Webb's discchord.com site. I'm not a Patreon supporter of his yet, but once I recover from the holiday spending, I might just become one.
I typically go to his site first for the straight dope on any new app I'm considering buying. And, will always return back to his site to use the app link on his site to make the purchase.
His videos for apps tick all the right boxes for me. He seems to take the time to learn the basics of the app, then walks through it showing you how to do stuff and what he's learned. I think everything I learned about Genome came from his excellent videos.
He's got great variety of content and plugs his iOS colleagues every chance he gets.
Also like that he seems completely transparent too. He doesn't always love every single app he reviews, and calls out stuff that simply doesn't work.
Here's a hilarious recent example if you haven't seen it about those pricey Rotor plastic pucks. He discloses right up front that he got them for free and gives a completely honest opinion of his experience with them. Some salty language, but a fine example of what I love about his iOS music blog. Good stuff

My three iOS go to's are appshopper, audiobus forum and discchord
LMAO....that was my exact reaction to rotor even without the knobs![:D :D](https://forum.loopypro.com/resources/emoji/lol.png)
Discchord... Cause most other blogs can't handle the truth!
Agree on all counts. I sometimes wish the technical energy of this forum could transfer to Discchord. I do hate the logo, though!
The logo?
You are a marketing managers thorn.
LOL
Haha.
It's so...Netscape Navigator!
So funny, so true. (If Tim can dish out an honest opinion, certainly he can take it, right?)
And the blog content is great, so no complaint here.
It is my only complaint.
