Video from Doug..Troublemaker by Bram Bos..Most Excellent

First off I love the classic 303 sound, and this just captures that perfectly. But it sounds better to me and is load more fun to play with too, and makes programming it super super easy. Add to this all the different options for recording and using it makes this the best sim of its type me thinks. And its Audiobus compatible so I set it up in Cubasis with some drums and added some more effects....cool beans.

  • Nice work doug
Good to see you vids again

  • Why did you have to go and do that Doug?! I thought this was one app I might not need but having seen your demo I am going to have to buy it!
Great to see you back on form!

  • @thesoundtestroom Doug you asked in the video if Cubasis has Ableton Link support, it does not. Currently BeatMaker 2 is the only iOS DAW with Link.

As a workaround, there are a couple of 3rd party apps that can help for those DAWs still missing link support. MIDI Link Sync and Link to MIDI.

Ahh you are right, i have link to midi and forgot about it. Duh. Thanks :)

  • For cubasis you have to use the midi link sync app. Use the tab in the upper screen that says "MIDI>>Link" and then for the input "Midi Link Sync In" press play in cubasis to receive the clock and enable sync. For start and stop you need to use the audiobus sidepanel. Haven't tested with this new app , but works for al the other link enabled apps i tried.
Nice video and good to hear you again.

Accceeeiiiid! I'm not the biggest electronic music fan, but loving this app all the same. Great to see TSTR demoing again. How about looking sometime at Sensual Sax V iFretless Sax and Heavy Duty Brass Sax?

  • Great review, although I am not a 303 fan. Good to see you back in the Room!

  • Hi Doug, good you keep on going on, good to see you here.

If I bought everything on my wishlist, the bill is $480. Aaargh. But this is on there. And most of them are there because of you. Fair number already bought, ditto.
