Korg Gadget Price

Hi guys. I've been reading all about Korg Gadget and I was wondering when the next time Korg is likely to have a sale will be. Also, did it used to be $40?

Comments

  • $40 is the regular price. Sales are usually 50% off. Not sure when the next one will be.

  • KORG tends to have very long holiday sales (~1 month). You just missed their holiday sale. However, maybe they'll have another around NAMM (?), or when they release the Mac version of Gadget.

If you can be patient, the sales are usually around 50% off.

  • Yes, and unless there's a new gadget at the time, the IAP's will also be on sale. Grab what you fancy then, and you'll get a bargain deal.

  • Might as well wait and see if there's a NAMM discount since it's next week but otherwise the extra 20 is worth it, imo, if you think you'll use it to make music now.

Hard to spend another man's money, but I agree with you Professor. First thought was 'but what if I write a great melody in the next six months?' And then I guess, what with time awasting as it is, it's also worth factoring in how much you might have mastered the program in the intervening time....

  • What type of music are you looking to make and/or what workflow are you trying to achieve? Gadget is rather specific in its approach.
