AC sabre is now 6o% off until the end of the month. https://itunes.apple.com/gb/app/id1039046999?mt=8
but now TC data is iphone compatible I'm not sure if I should get it since TC data is more advanced.
Anyone have both who can comment?
Thanks for the tip. For $5 it's temping. I'm not the arm waving type (if there is such a thing), but I do like mixing up my way of working to wring out unexpected results.
Search another thread on this app I did a while back it gets more in detail about it and is actually quite humorous as it touches on the flailing of ones arms at home alone...............

I have both and both are great. I would say that TC Data is more about "generative music" (kind of random music here) and AC Sabre is more about control and performance as you can really tweak one or more parameters as you want it to be
I bought AC Sabre at full price and I have no regrets. At 5$, it is, in my opinion, a no brainer
I think AC Sabre is easier to get up and running and gives you more of a sense of being in control of the sounds you generate with it. TC-Data has more options for creating various controls. Both are great.
I always get these things to have a bit of fun with for a night, but this one only lasted 10 mins or so. It's cool but not my thing.
Thanks @cuscolima & @InfoCheck
I bought it and like it. Yeah whilst Tc data is more experimental and advanced in lots of ways I like that this is aiming to be a specific instrument you learn and get good at. It's quick to get a scale up and running. It's also got a drone button which is like a hold and something I wish TC-data/Tc-11 had (still hope it gets added one day.) I'd say it compliments Tc-data quite well and you can switch between them on the fly.
Can't do chords though unless I'm missing it.
There are modes where you can play two notes. To do chords you can send the MIDI to another app which takes the single note and converts it into a chord.
That's true but then you may as well use TC data which can do chords (as long as you have both). I think it would be good for AC sabre to add it in the future to the interface somewhere.
This is one of the coolest midi controller apps since Soundprism for the iPhone IMHO.
I dig the motion and feeling the music in a sense which is amazing since it is all digital!!
Virtual what..................
I thought so, but find myself using it more often and more often.
I have plenty of arpegiator app options so I find myself not limited to resorting to TC Data for chords. It would seem like a smart move to add chord options to AC Sabre although it does seem very monophonically oriented so perhaps there is room for a polyphonic chord version too.
Here's a short demo using Troublemaker run through AmpliTube in AUM controlled by AC Sabre to create electric guitar like sounds.
