UA-22 Duo-Capture EX + CCK Usb3 = no need for power supply ?
Hello,
This little sound card needs to be powered by batteries or a psu to be connected with an iPad.

But I was wondering if I use the latest CCK Usb 3, and so I plug the psu of the iPad in it, does it avoid the use of powering the soundcard directly ?
Thanks

cck usb 3 thing only powers the ipad, not any external gear hooked on it. Kinda sucks
Ah...hmm...Yes it does indeed...Thanks for the clarification !
I confirm.
I got the Roland and the cck usb3.
You'll need a power supply.

Wondering if this will work from USB bus power with an iPad?
Ah, tanks, @iamspoon very up to date here ! Firs time I heard about this one...
I dont think so. Interfaces simply require so much power, especially when using phantom power, that i dont think its possible to power up such an interface with the little power ipad can put out
