Audiobus and blocs wave

I have been trying to send some keys into blocs wave. I have it setup as an input in Audiobus but the sample slot always remains empty after recording. The sample slot acts and looks as though it is recording but remains silent. I'm guessing it's user error. But I dunno.....I would like to record right into wave. I did the AUM route but figured this way would be nice and streamlined. Thanks for any input.
