Transpose function for Korg Gadget? Transpose MIDI recommendation for live setup?
Am I missing something or does Gadget not have a global transpose function like Module or iM1? If not, could something like MIDIflow handle this? Looking for suggestions here as my wife has been using Gadget as a live sound module, but she sometimes has a need for transpose. I would prefer to set up something that she could control via some sort of external hardware interface if possible. My concern is playing with the touch screen during live performance could be disasterous as is forgetting to turn note shift off
As always your feedback appreciated!

Do you need real time transpose of a single module or the ability to transpose an existing gadget sequence?
Basically I have a single scene with multiple gadgets configured and an external controller is connected. I need to be able to transpose in real time any notes that are played.
MIDIFlow can do it but it might be a little fiddly. iMIDIPatchbay might be a little easier (and has other benefits for live use). Or a new controller with a transpose button.![:) :)](https://forum.loopypro.com/resources/emoji/smile.png)

Transpose for an entire song, with different instruments on different channels, seems like nervous business, for a live performance. Very nervous using an extra app as a pit stop for the transpose. Lot of variables, and not a quick way to correct things if the transpose gets buggered.
I might trust a midi controller more, where you can do a preset per song, and have it change the Midi channel, as well as the transpose setting. That way the song and the preset are married.
Thanks @syrupcore iMIDIPatchbay seems like it could be an option. Do you think it would have any issue working with Gadget? Also is it still being actively developed? The Appstore shows it was last updated in 2014![:open_mouth: :open_mouth:](https://forum.loopypro.com/resources/emoji/open_mouth.png)
@Processaurus I agree that a hardware controller may be more reliable but I hate to purchase another controller just for this feature. Also I think a software solution may have the benefit of a visual indicator that transpose is active which many hardware controllers won't have.
