I think all touch screen instruments should have a legato option
Scale choices have become pretty common place, and that's a good thing. Fingers are going to slip and plus the natural impulse is to want to slide your finger around. Having optional legato will only make this more enjoyable. If I'm playing on a touch screen, I want to be able to slide my finger around and only hear a new note attack when I press down again. I'm thinking specifically of Gadget here, where many gadgets lack this option but I'm sure there are others. Who agrees this should be a standard consideration?

Yep, agreed. Love this in ThumbJam and Animoog particularly. Polyphonic legato is a perfect fit for touch screens.

@HandOfEmpty absolutely. Though polyphonic legato would be above and beyond, i'm speaking of just basic mono legato.
