Can you recommend a camera mount for the iphone SE? Want to record some jams for my YT channel.
I'm a bit wary about these cheaper stands but i want to mount the iPhone over my Push so want it to be secure. The gorilla pod stands look good but i want to angle the camera horizontally overhead so a gooseneck seems like it would be best but will it hold the camera steady while i'm bashing away on the pads?
Cheers!

You can mount this on your stand of choice, holds my iPhone SE all day, every day, good for charging & standing alone too.

We have iKlip Grip Pro available which would do what you need to do (as well as our usual many choices of mics and such to complement mobile videographers): http://www.ikmultimedia.com/products/iklipgrippro
I use https://www.amazon.com/Vastar-Universal-Adapter-Samsung-Tabletop/dp/B00WFNNNCC/ref=pd_lpo_107_lp_t_4?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1&refRID=T89G0WB72MKMMGPZQVBW
And for a tripod

+1 for @decibelle choice.
Another option is buying something like this https://www.ebay.com/itm/322361223454 and attaching it to a mic stand.
I use a selfie stick with a tripod mount. Works great.
Thanks but i want it to stand on my desk. had in mind gooseneck mount that will hover vertically over the Push like this?
If it was free standing there's a good chance it would get knocked over.
I use this

Secured with this:

And never had any problems.
@Hmtx what stand is that and can you adjust the height? I was thinking of something flexible that i could use from different angles.

I've found the shoulderpod.com/Shoulderpod perfect for tripod mounting. It is very sturdy and adjusts to easily mount any phone, even if it's in a case. Can be used handheld too.
It has a standard camera tripod mount on the bottom. For your use, I would use a boom mic stand with this little thing:

I have this mount

and use it with a small tripod. Works great for me.

Thanks for the replies, so it looks like everything involves a tripod or mic stand but i thought a gooseneck mount would be ideal as it will be floating and not subject to vibrations and shakey cam syndrome!
I'm leaning towards one of the Joby GorillaPods as i could mount to it to anything and use it in different environments.
In my experience goosenecks are generally a whole lot stiffer, heavier, and more limited than they look. Also, they are just as subject to vibrations as any other mount. Furthermore, I find that workarounds end up costing significantly more time/money than doing it properly, because I almost always do in the end what I should've done in the first place anyway.
These things have pretty much all been tried/done before, and if there really were any viable shortcuts they'd already have been widely reported.
Also, please note that because cameras mostly don't record sound, camera tripods can be irritatingly noisy. For this reason I recommend a dedicated mic stand over camera equivalents. There are inexpensive high quality lightweight tabletop ones, e.g.

I use that one with the ball head I linked above,
https://www.bax-shop.co.uk/microphone-stand-accessories/konig-meyer-19695-universal-joint-rotatable-1-4
... but to me the ball head @Hmtx pictured looks like it might be nicer.
The iPhone mount
http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00IF4NVY0/
... has several threaded sockets, one of which will fit right onto the threaded screw of the ball head, it's a standard size, generally the bigger ones are for audio equipment and the smaller ones for cameras, and this iPhone mount conveniently integrates both sizes so no adapters are needed.
Shieeet, was convinced i replied. Oh well!
Thanks. I have a gooseneck for the iPad and it,s pretty solid, does vibrate of course but the way it's mounted means transference is pretty low which i think is partially mitigated by the heavy arm.
But yeah a tripod would be better as it allows more freedom with placement. The griptight gorillapod looks ideal because i could attach that to anything, monitor shelf, mic stand (even the ipad mount i mentioned) . Check out the ways it can be used but i can use that for field recording as well thinking about it.
I'll look into more professional options eventually but i want something that gets the job done and is quick to set-up. Cheers!
selfie stick with a tripod mount is all you need to shoot a wonderful footage. the tripod can works smoothly. https://www.cuou.net/selfie-stick.html
Has a gooseneck phone holder attached to like an angle poise lamp bit that clamps to the desk.
