Maybe not. I've tried about three times to load and it's a no go! I don't have Twitter or Facebook etc....to shoot them a comment
Where's Telstar5? He often makes contact with them
It's working finally. 20 euro. Sold.
Serious/honest question: Is it your estimation that the average (or less than average in my case) piano player would notice/enjoy a sufficient difference with this (as compared to Module etc), especially if the use of piano is usually 'in the mix' as opposed to more Chopinery requirements? Truth is I would think I'd know the answer, but notice such a difference even in AP between the stock stereo grand and the Salamander Grand etc etc that it's got me wondering
I leave the sound comparisons to pro players, sorry, I just don't feel qualified. I bought it because I wanted a decent electric piano audio unit app and this is the first one out. If Module, SampleTank or iLectric became audio units before this release I probably wouldn't purchase this. Tines is cool but doesn't count. The NeoSoulKeys developer is also working on an e-piano au app which I think will have a bit more character than this Colossus one which is more clean I think.
Thanks. Fair comment. Think I'll stick for now...
Very nice indeed! Sold!
It's absolutely wonderful. The exact/specific sounds I paid $400 on keyscape to get.
I'll still get Neo Soul Studio AUv3 for its additional character but I'm very pleased with Crudebyte right now.
Very nice to hear this!!
@Arpseechord , so you've finally got it working? I couldn't get it loaded either so I emailed Christian and yeah, he got back to me immediately. Duh "swipe right" , lol.
I have now no words for how great this app is (whoops, I guess I just had some). Just got done playing the insanely good Rhodes model.. Boy, did they pick a good one. I reccomend Apple camera connector on this one rather than blue tooth. Even at 5 ms it seems a bit noticeable but you get used to it. But that Rhodes.. it plays sexy and gentle, it barks as you hit it hard in just the right way.. . 100 stars, Criudebutes slammed it out of the park again.
Anyone dissatisfied with this app? I can't imagine it except for the price but when you stop to think about what went into sampling a 14 gigabyte piano.
Just the size not the sound. I understand why, but it makes it a hard keeper for regular use (until these damn machines catch up with the reality of memory etc).
The Electric grand and FM Pianos are also spectacular
It's all working beautifully. Amazed with the quality and the touch and feel on my full Roland is exactly what I've been wanting. The Rhodes are " sexy and gentle".... if you have Sensual Sax you've a perfect match! +++ 100 stars
Ps: thanks for emailing Christian
Enjoy your e-pianos

Just downloaded it. The sounds are simply awesome. This is much better than NeoSoul Keys --- however I just learned that NeoSoul is about to launch a new hi-res version in the next few months - so that might be amazing as well. But at $20, no-brainer. Love it.
mh ... I have to say I am slightly underwhelmed with the e-piano pack. some are nice, some rather disappointing, the Rhodes especially. very few velocity layers.
the ux is a disaster. if you want to switch from the electric grand to a rhodes you have to load the fm, clav and wurly one after the other before you can load the rhodes. adding the pad sound reloads the whole instrument etc etc. I hope some of these things will be addressed in updates.
on the plus side, some of them are rather nice (I like the electic grand), and they are relatively inexpensive and auv3
Agreed on the Rhodes, also the AUv3 GUI will evolve (I emailed the developer about this a couple days ago)
Yes but the higher resolution samples than competing products - it just sounds incredible. Also I record in Auria Pro so the ability to use a higher resolution instrument is useful for recording.
I don't see mention - can someone please tell me how many GB's the E-Piano Set is?
Thanks!
