Auria Convolution Reverb WAV files

I bought some of Celestion's new speaker impulse responses. If I add the WAV files as is to the IR folder I can select them but they don't actually work, the plugin stays on the last file that was selected. If I re-convert them to WAV in audioshare first they magically work. I had the exact same issue with an IR from a different source. Anyone else have this issue or understand why some WAV files won't work? Thanks.

  • I've had a similar problem with the free Sample City IRs. They used to work in Auria before the Pro upgrade. I'm guessing there is a bug (which I reported).

My advice would be to go to the Auria forum and post your issue there. The more people report the bug the more likely it is to get fixed.

I have had similar problems with Auria Pro's Convolution Reverb and posted this to the Auria forum awhile back:

Speaker & guitar cab IR files are so small that a lot of IR reverb apps won't play nice with them. I've found through advice on the forums that for short IR's like that the Fiddlecator app works quite well.

The Mobile Convulsion & AltiSpace convolution reverb apps on iOS seem to take most .wav's I've thrown at them. So Auria's stock IR reverb not working isn't end of the world stuff, but since you could use as many instances as you want inside Auria like an AU it sucks it has been gimped by bugs.

If you had issues with short cabinet size IR's and the mid-side , left & right files I tried don't work with the Auria Convolution Reverb, and it's been known for quite awhile, hopefully next update will fix it...
