Midiflow 2.2.11 is out
There is a new Midiflow version for you (2.2.11)! In the past months, I have been working a lot on the underlying MIDI framework that should bring more speed and bug fixes – and a lot preparations for some exiting stuff coming in the next weeks
The actual reason for this update, however, is that preset sharing now works with a files, instead of links. After you have exported the *.mflw file, you can store it wherever you want and import it later using "Open in...".
The preset links, that you might have created with the old version, should still work. However, you cannot create new ones.
Have fun!

Aces. Thank you, Johannes.
Great to see improvements coming!
Thanks a lot.
Cool ! Thanks a lot !
Great news for a great app.
Great app. Due to midi implementation getting a lot better I havent used it as much but Im really glad I have it for those awkward moments and remapping problems. Intuitive and easy to use.
I wonder if I will have a bit more luck making a patch to make beatstep have relative changes with its knobs instead of the annoying value jumps of the absolute setting. Worth a go I recon
Nice! I'm also looking forward to the rumored midi keyboard app.
Thanks Johannes. Are there any plans to update iMIDIPatchbay?
Great update. Now a question about my favorite app from you:
Any update coming for iMIDIPatchbay?.
MIDIflow is nice and all but iMIDIPatchbay it's awesome for the stage. I feel like MIDIflow wasn't designed for live use?, maybe I'm wrong and of course I could give it a try on a show but The way the app works doesn't seem to fit as well with a live show the way iMIDIPatchbay does.
Yes, iMIDIPatchbay will get a nice update, too. It's the app that I personally use the most, so don't worry about its future.![:) :)](https://forum.loopypro.com/resources/emoji/smile.png)
Cool, thanks !
May I suggest an easier way for selecting patches for an external midi controller ?
Thru notes maybe ? CC ? Maybe I also need some sleep...
Thanks Johannes. It would be nice to see Midi learn added to imidipatchbay. I like the visual cues it gives but some hardware control would make it even better!![:) :)](https://forum.loopypro.com/resources/emoji/smile.png)
Thanks
Hope there's also a dark mode planned for the ui....
Thanks Johannes, this is great news! You've made gigging musicians all over the world happy.![:) :)](https://forum.loopypro.com/resources/emoji/smile.png)
+1 for MIDI learn, though this is probably already on your list.
@JohannesD Could be possible add key commands and strokes like OSCulator BMT?
We are discussing workarounds to switch apps in iOS and attach a cmd+tab command action to a incoming midi data could work as "hack".

Thanks.
Now that you mention it, it'd be a great thing indeed. I often work in dark environments, and getting MidiFlow up on a screen literally lights up the entire room. It'd be great to have a somewhat muted/dark option.![:) :)](https://forum.loopypro.com/resources/emoji/smile.png)
I usually inverse colours when using Midiflow.
You can set this up via device settings. I have mine set for a triple-click of home button.
This is just an inverted pic to show you the colours. Taking a screenshot in this mode doesn't capture the change.
Can i also use midiflow to use the network session to act like a "localhost" same as with midibridge ?
I'm looking for a replacement and searching for an app to sync the midi clock with apps that have a broken midi port. Not sure if I need this or midibus.
