Sweet!
Giving this a serious look and watching the tutorials. Would like to find non tutorials of it in actual use both with and without a midi pedal.
Thx, nice update
Very smart looking app. I bought a second hand Boss rc-300 a few years back, but had to return it as it was DOA. Always wanted something similar via an app, and this looks the ticket. Interesting.
Looking incredibly boss rc series now indeed.
my main looper is an rc-202 and i used to rock a 505, this is as close as it comes in app form. Turnado ,Crystalline, and wow filterbox being available as fx IN the looper is so badass for my needs
It looks very nice, and very usable. I'm going to check out the cost of MIDI foot controllers now...
We live in the golden age of looping apps. Lots of incremental improvements from lots of good developers... and yet! Everyone waits to see if Loopy Masterpiece arrives in time to sweep us off our feet.
Michael, what's the scoop on Masterpiece?
@lukesleepwalker @MonzoPro @Munibeast I think I've muttered about this before but it does look pretty....being as I am not likely any time soon to play live, is there anything else useful or particular about this puppy?
Ive been beta testing it, and i can say that the iaa fx are great and super stable, and good to have all in one place without having to use AUM. It also can run IAA rhythm, so yo can have a drum machine app loaded in as well with no need for aum/ab. I havent used it live yet as i mainly use hardware live, but im excited to take this busking soon as it warms up
Thanks for the input. I don't know where in the world you are (so can't guess at the arrival of Spring), but do make a video once you get back out there![:) :)](https://forum.loopypro.com/resources/emoji/smile.png)
Yes, I am thinking of an irig Blueboard to use with this myself also should I take a serious foray into looping.
I find Mr Gaia Tree's enthusiasm infectious but I don't see anything that Loopy doesn't already do (with more tracks). If IAA effects float your boat, then there's there there, apparently.
Never got along with loopy so hoping this suits my needs much better. The GUI of this looks so much better.
Usually better looking means worst performance which maybe is not the best bet for live looping but let's hope it's well coded and work as expected.
Also for those interest in IAA without AUM and looping, GTL also support IAA as audio input directly in addition to regular AB input.
Thanks. I am appreciating Loopy more and more these days (Mark Twain and his dad I think), so may stick rather than twist....
This looks much more traditional as a looper is perhaps why the GUI is so appealing. Perhaps that says it better. When combined with the Blueboard I believe it would feel much like the rc series of loopers from Boss. From the videos I have seen so far, quantiloop appears to work very much like the rc series also and if so this could be the new king on the block. I really want to try it but I have really been trying to cut back on app acquisitions. Damn it looks very good in both style and performance both. Still would like to see more videos of it being used and to hear from actual users of this looper as to how it works.
Anyone using it yet?
Same here. I fired Loopy HD up last night and had another go but find the UI off-putting. I guess it's a matter of personal preference, but the more traditional approach by the new app looks more user friendly for me.
This used to work perfectly on my old 1st gen mini. I'm having two issues since the update. Most of the time, the text overlay graphic, control legends etc, are missing when the app loads. Secondly, if I try to load loops from Audioshare (this seems to occur mostly on track 4) the app then crashes.
The template presets looks really useful for easy set ups . This just gets more tempting with each video tutorial.
Hi Rcf.
Although a iPad mini 1st gen is pushing it I have to admit. this should work.
I just got 1 crash report in the system, and it is from a midi 1st gen. What I can see is that both memory and disk are completely full, and it fails on writing to the disk.
We will add an error msg in the next update to avoid the crash of course.
If the above those not help. Please email at [email protected] as this is the fastest route to resolution,
Note that a tutorial for the v2 features will be up later this week.
Although I have not gotten this YET, your last update was excellent I can already tell just from the description.
I haven't got off the blessed fence here either, but sense this video will be the tipping point. No pressure![:) :)](https://forum.loopypro.com/resources/emoji/smile.png)
Don't see the video tutorials here I'm guessing I need to search them out
All on YouTube under quantiloop.
Very good thank you!
